Hi, I’m Kaila; the heart, eyes, and soul behind Nu Glo Baby Studio. Welcome, I serve mothers all throughout the Washington Metropolitan area who want to pause time in the most sacred season of their lives. Through the lens of my camera, I help women hold on to the moments that often pass too quickly, the quiet kicks, the swelling anticipation, the newborn breaths, the miracle of birth. My goal is simple: to make every mother, baby, and family feel seen, beautiful, safe, and deeply cared for.

Although I’ve photographed many things throughout the years, nothing compares to the joy I feel when capturing maternity, birth, and newborn stories. God placed a specific calling on my life to document the beginning of new life, and to speak life into the women chosen to steward it.

As a mother myself, I understand the worries, fears, and fast-moving days that come with preparing to bring a child into the world. I’ve been there, not only as a mother, a photographer, but also as a woman who once struggled to understand her own worth.

For years, I battled feelings of rejection, low self-esteem, and the belief that I wasn’t enough. But God rewrote my story, and now I pour that same truth into every woman who steps in front of my camera. Every session is an opportunity for prayer, encouragement, and genuine connection. I want each mother to experience the beauty God sees in her, not just in her photos, but in her identity.
